What Is Time-Lapse Technology?
Time-lapse technology is an innovative embryo-incubation system equipped with a built-in camera and microscope.
It captures thousands of images of each embryo over the course of its development, creating a detailed video timeline from fertilization to the blastocyst stage (Day 5–6).
Unlike traditional IVF incubators — where embryos are removed periodically for observation — time-lapse systems allow continuous, non-invasive monitoring in optimal culture conditions.
This provides embryologists with complete insight into each embryo’s growth and behavior, enabling more precise selection for transfer.
