About Prof. Joyce Harper
Professor Joyce Harper is an internationally recognized expert in fertility and reproductive health, with almost 40 years of experience in fertility, genetics, IVF, and women’s health education. As Professor of Reproductive Science at University College London (UCL), she leads efforts to enhance public understanding of fertility, menstruation, and menopause.
At Almond Blossoms Fertility & Wellbeing Centre in Dubai, Professor Harper serves as a fertility and women’s health educator, supporting our commitment to evidence-based fertility care and women’s wellbeing.
Early in her career, she played a significant role in the development and advancement of PGT. Her work helped establish the clinical and scientific foundations for this technology.

Professor Harper has published extensively in reproductive science and women’s health and is active in global education and research discussions in fertility and reproductive medicine. She is co-founder of the ESHRE PGT Consortium, the International Reproductive Health Education Collaboration and InTune, the UK menopause education and support programme.
Books & Public Education
Professor Harper authored “Your Fertile Years; what you need to know to make informed decisions” (2021), a widely referenced guide to fertility and reproductive health based on clear, science-based information. Her latest book, Your Joyful Years; empowering good health and happiness beyond 50, is out March 20th, 2026. She regularly contributes to public education through interviews and media appearances, helping to normalize conversations about fertility and women’s health.

Professor Harper received the Life Achievement Award in Fertility Care (2022) from the European Fertility Society, recognizing her longstanding contributions to fertility care and reproductive health.
